چکیده

Cultured rat ovarian granulosa cells respond to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) by synthesizing and secreting plasminogen activator. The specificity of the response for FSH prompted us to explore the use of this system as an in vitro bioassay for FSH. The release of FSH by pituitary cell cultures has been examined by this method, as have been preparations of FSH of known biological activity. The results indicate that the granulosa cell system allows accurate, rapid, and convenient determinations of FSH activity. Furthermore, the method obviates metabolic clearance problems associated with whole animal assays and it is extremely sensitive: as little as lo-l5 mol (-100 pIU) of FSH can be detected.

Follicle stimulating hormone increases spermatogonial stem cell colonization during in vitro co-culture

The complex process of spermatogenesis is regulated by various factors. Studies on spermatogonial stem cells (SCCs) have provided very important tool to improve herd genetic and different field. 0.2 to 0.3 percent of total cells of seminiferous tubules is consist of spermatogonial stem cells. To investigate and biomanipulation of these cells, proliferation and viability rate of cells should be ...

P-98: The Effect of Primary pH Values of Medium Culture on Expression of Human Follicle Stimulating Hormone in Recombinant Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells.

Background One of the common gonadotropin hormones used for infertility treatment is recombinant Follicle stimulating hormone (rFSH). pH is an environmental factor that can affect production of recombinant proteins with no imposing cost. Culture pH is known as a parameter that significantly affects cell growth and protein production. In this study, tried to investigate the effect of different p...

Evaluation of the Effect of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) on Survival and Colonization of Caprine Spermatogonial Stem Cells during in Vitro Culture

Background and Objectives: Spermatogonial stem cells are specific cells that have the ability of self-renewal and differentiation. These cells play an essential role in maintaining spermatogenesis and fertility. In this regard, the present study was performed with the purpose of investigating the effect of different concentrations of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) on in vitro colony formati...

P-132: The Effect of Different Fetal Bovine Serum Levels on Recombinant Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells, Expressing HumanFollicle Stimulating Hormone

Background: Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is one of the most common and effective gonadotropin hormones used in infertility treatment. Production of FSH as a drug is affordable as long as it is done with minimal cost. FBS is the most expensive component in medium culture furthermore; it’s being controversial to cause unnecessary suffering for the unborn calf for collection their serum. In ...
